April to June
During spring, everything comes into bloom in Aalsmeer and the surrounding area. As temperatures slowly rise, more and more outdoor activities take place. Besides water sports in and around the Westeinderplassen, there is plenty to experience in Aalsmeer.
11 April – SeringenXperience, discover a lilac nursery by boat
11 & 12 April – Kom in de Kas open greenhouse days: visit local greenhouses and discover the world of horticulture. Admire a wide variety of flowers, plants and cacti and enjoy activities such as treasure hunts for children – Aalsmeer and surrounding area
19 April – The 25th Venniper Koninginnerit cycling tour – route through Aalsmeer
27 April – Festive King’s Day celebration with bouncy castles, DJs, live music and a traditional flea market – various locations in Aalsmeer and Kudelstaart
9 May – Geranium Market Aalsmeer on Raadhuisplein and the street market in Zijdstraat
7 June – Ronde van de Stelling van Amsterdam: a challenging cycling tour with several routes, for example from Uithoorn via Aalsmeer to Uitgeest – various locations
19–21 June – Bootshow Hollandse Plassen – Kemper’s Watersport
20 June – Plaspop Aalsmeer – four different locations
26–28 June – Aalsmeer Flower Festival

July to September
During the warm summer months, Aalsmeer is a popular destination for visitors. Whether you come for a day trip to the flower village or for a longer holiday, there is plenty to discover. Two highlights you definitely shouldn’t miss are the iconic Pramenrace Aalsmeer and the lively Feestweek Aalsmeer, packed with activities ranging from live music to film and art.

October to December
Towards the end of the year, there is still plenty to do in Aalsmeer. You can admire the beautiful autumn colours in nature, while the colder days are perfect for visiting a museum, attending a concert or enjoying a film night in Aalsmeer. So dress warmly and head out to explore!
